O Video Game Awards, um evento de premiação criado pela Spike TV, cresceu e ficou internacionalmente reconhecido como o Oscar dos Videogames. Menos cult que o prêmio Famitsu e mais sério que o Best of Best Videogames da Gamespot a comparação é bastante justa e o prêmio vem surpreendendo ano após ano com milhares de trailers, anúncios e aparições.

O VGA desse ano não foi diferente e embora eu não concorde com o jogo do ano (eu acho que Zelda Skyward Sword merecia mais) a única surpresa real foi a total ausência de Gears of War 3 em qualquer lugar da lista. Vamos a ela:

Houve ainda diversos trailers novos como a revelação do novo Alan Wake, do novo survival horror da Naughty Dog (a resposta da Sony ao Left 4 Dead) e dois trailers de cair o queixo: Mass Effect 3 e Metal Gear Rising.
